The building plot intended for the medical complex has a pronounced relief: the height difference from south to north is about 10 meters. Four designed buildings are united together by a common stylobate situated on the +0.000 mark, that corresponds to the level of the ground floor. On the south-east the level mark corresponds to the mark of Lavrsky side-street; the pronounced relief of the plot on the South-east is used as an entrance to the stylobate for ambulances and fire engines.
Architecture of the complex is formed by four buildings of 3, 5, 8 storey high amphitheatrically located on the stylobate and facing Durova street. A five-storey high and a four-storey high buildings, located on the front line along Durova street have panoramic views on the city. The 8-storey buildings 1 and 2 situated on the second line from Durova street are thought to serve the noise barrier for the residential quarter located to the south of Lavrsky side-street.
The main architectural task was to create a stylistically united complex of four buildings with a common stylobate and an underground car park. Facades are imagined in modern materials such as glass and aluminum slats that protect from the direct sun rays, and natural and artificial stone that meet the modern fire, strength, ecological and aesthetic requirements.
Functional zoning of the complex:
Building 1: Endovascular surgery
Building 2: Prenatal center
Building 3: Rehabilitation center
Building 4: Positron emission tomography center
