The building plot is situated in the central part of the city of Yaroslavl. A contemporary and simple shape of the building is wrapped in the facades that symbolize the rich historical heritage of the place such as ancient Russian chambers with tiles decoration, fragments of old ornaments in white stone, and shapes of ancient Russian chests as a symbol of the uniqueness of the place where had been found important archaeological remains. The main theme of the façade is the combination of bas-reliefs in white stone with a lacy and transparent carving based on ancient Russian ornaments. Thanks to this idea architects could reduce the area of visible window openings to its minimum, maintaining the necessary for a hotel area of glazing.
